Our pledge

By working in partnership, we are able to influence both national and local housing policy, as well as support key areas on welfare, health, and wellbeing.

Together with our key partners and strategic influencers, we believe that we can make a significant contribution throughout Gloucestershire to meet key targets on housing need both now and in the future.

  1. Advocate for affordable housing, especially social housing, by engaging with local, regional, and national decision makers.
  2. Articulate what new social housing should be like in Gloucestershire.
  3. Commit to place-shaping principles for regeneration and new homes development in Gloucestershire.
  4. Support statutory partners in eradicating homelessness in Gloucestershire.
  5. Pilot development and community investment schemes with partners that counter social isolation.
  6. Adopt community anchor principles, to support and strengthen local communities for the long-term across Gloucestershire.
